This blog was created November 5th, 2011 by my best friend Rei and me! Rei is a photographer (a fantastic one at that!) and it was her idea to start a modest fashion blog! I had experience with blogging and writing is one of my passions (you can view our "About Us" page for more on that!) so we decided to partner up and create JR Fotography!
Modest fashion is the main focus here at JR Fotography! Rei and I both love experimenting with different fashions, and by blending that with our Christian faith we've each developed new ideas for modern and modest clothes! It's been our experience that modesty is on a low these days, and it can be extremely difficult and frustrating for young ladies who want something that covers it all up without having to shop in the old ladies section. ;)
We believe that modesty can be coupled with lots of different individual styles! To be modest doesn't mean you give up all your stylish clothes in exchange for dull colors and an old pair of sneakers! In fact, it almost means the opposite! You have to really get creative and find ways to make normally immodest clothes modest! We hope through our blog you'll be inspired by our own ideas and go out and create some of your own unique fashions! Share them with us via email! We'd love to have you as a guest fashion blogger! :)
